But i have another request for info i,am looking for some kind of fender or mudguard to install over my back tire and inbetween my rear fender .Any sudjestion anyone ? Mud flap or small fender not sure what it,is called Just want to put something inbetween my tire and fender thanks Kit .

Mabey i,ll look and sound foolish but i never been on e bay .I appreate the information but I ,ve been there for a hour and i can,t find bike parts or fenders . But i thank you for your help .There a lot to learn about the net .Just about every where i been on the internet is a direct link of this form which has been some grate reading not to mention all the stuff on this form .Thanks for trying to help me Kit

HOWEVER!  You would need longer bolts for the rear brake caliper that this does NOT appear to come in this auction.

Keep looking, and good luck.  I'll check the brand I have on mine ... really, it's just for protecting the shock from getting crapped up and keeping the spray off the bottom on the undertray, it doesn't need to be massive.

hey rev Z man thanks man i am thankfull for the help and info . I,ll give this a try and i,ll keep looking there no big rush i live in Manitoba Canada and were 2 mounths away from any riding I had a lot of bikes 3 different bemmers but this R1100S got me . I bought it 4 weeks ago and have never road it yet .it is from my past riding experience I know what I think , I,ve got my pegs lowered and my rapdog bar backs ordered the only thing i need is this mudder .I,ve been with out a bike for 5 years because i didn,t have time sold my 2001 RC1200 to my brother I had the independent model .it was the yellow and Black one with more crome then i every had befor, even on my harleys .So needless to say i dieing to get back in the saddle on my R1100 s Well that a bit of  my story sure do appreate your help i,ve been reading a lot from the old forms very cool and interesting stuff Kit

rather than the hugger you can use a sleeve to cover the shock and protect it.

MX guys use a product called a Shock Sock, or something like that.  Should work.
